TUNGSTEN CARBIDE HARDFACING

Redband offers a Tungsten Carbide Hard Facing process where a Tungsten Carbide grit is embedded into the molten weld puddle.
This process is typically done on 15-25% of the products and significantly improves the wear resistance.
The Tungsten Carbide helps to break up the material during operation, making it easier for the non-treated components to pick up loosened material, improving the wear resistance on the overall system.
